One is strong, the other not so much. The springs on the older version (strong) are 2 5/8 inches, while the newer version are 2 3/8 inch long (uncompressed). All the volute springs I see are the 2 3/8 lengths. The Felco 6/91s are 2 3/8.I am looking for the longer version (2 5/8 inch). Anybody finding those anywhere ?
