More InformationThe dual plate wafer swing check valve is commonly used in different branches of the fluid management industry: chemistry, petrochemistry, hydraulic networks, heating systems...
Mounted between flanges PN10 to P25, our dual plate wafer swing check valves have a body made of grey iron, ductile iron, or stainless steel depending on the different applications. The disc material also depends on issues related to the compatibility between the material and the conditions of use: they can be in nodular cast iron, stainless steel, or bronze. An NBR, EPDM, or FKM vulcanized joint ensures the valve is tight, and allows a wide range of fluid types and temperatures. Our reference 372 for instance (CF8M stainless-steel body and disc, FKM seat) is suitable with aggressive or corrosive fluids up to 180 °C.

Set up in a horizontal position or in a vertical position with an ascending fluid, the dual plate wafer swing's role is to avoid water hammers and to get a weak head loss.
At Syveco, all our dual plate wafer swing check valves comply with the directive /68/EU for pressure equipment. They allow maximum pressures of 16 bar up to DN300 and 10 bar for larger diameters.
Good to know: some of our products are approved by the Lloyd's Register for marine applications.
