The MDI and combined polyether bucket should not be exposed to sunlight, and thery must be kept away from heat source, placed in a cool and dry place. Do not cover water if the bucket is placed upright. The cover must be closed immediately after each use to prevent water vapor and impurities from entering the barrel and affecting the quality, If the whole barrel cannot be used up at one time. If more than two grades of combined polyether are used, they shall be piled up by grades and marked clearly. The combined polyether added with common flame retardant should not be stored for too long, and must be prepared and used on the same day, otherwise it will easily cause deterioration and affect the foaming quality.
Protective glasses, overalls and caps must be worn when operating MDI and combined polyether. Clean rubber gloves should be worn when handling isocyanates. The working environment must be well ventilated and clean. At high ambient temperature, the pressure will be generated due to the partial vaporization of the foaming agent in the combined polyether, so the exhaust cap should be opened first to discharge the gas and relieve the pressure, and then the cap should be opened. When foam is required to be flame retardant (note: self-extinguishing), additive flame retardant can be used. The addition amount of common flame retardant is 15 ~ 20% of the weight of white material, and the flame retardant must be stirred evenly before foaming.
